Traditionally, as in previous years, the young scientist’s competition for Kostyuk Foundation Award has been conducted in a year 2015. 20 applications from young scientists working in different Ukrainian research institutes have been obtained for consideration this year resulting in the very competitive contest. According to the decision of Reviewing Committee this year Kostyuk Foundation Award has been presented to Dr. Svetlana Prylutska, a young researcher from Educational and Scientific Center «Institute of Biology» of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Official presentation of the Awards was conducted in the last day of International Symposium «Ion Channels Trimming the Brain» that was held in September 24-26 in Kyiv at Bogomolets Institute of Physiology NAS of Ukraine.
