Platon G. Kostyuk was a renowned Ukrainian neurophysiologist widely recognized for the development of intracellular perfusion technique and discovery and characterization of voltage-gated calcium channels in nerve cells. He  fostered generations of students, many of whom became successful leaders, and spread his legacy throughout the world.

10/12/2018: Call for 2018 Platon Kostyuk Award is open

Young biomedical researchers working in Ukraine are invited to apply for the 2018 Platon Kostyuk Award (http://usn.org.ua/index.php?id=premya-2018-roku ) presented by Kostyuk Foundation and The Shevchenko Scientific Society in the US (http://shevchenko.org ).
Biological and medical scientists with PhD/Cand.Sci. degree received no longer than 10 years ago are eligible for the application.

Submit to kostyuk.award@gmail.com before or on November 11, 2018. The recipient(s) of the Kostyuk Award will be recognized by a commemorative plaque and personal cash award (30000 hryvnas).
